Going to Lapland UK has become a Tabby Christmas tradition. This year Tabs and I went with Fred, Bjorn, Petra and Aunty Leanor. 


The kids got to help Father Christmas make Teddy Bears for children around the world. 



Then they heard a story and got to decorate gingerbread Christmas trees in Mother Christmas's kitchen.


Next they sent their Santa letters in a special express post box.

This year we celebrated Bonfire Night at Granny and Grandad's house. This meant that, for the first time, we got to make our own effigy of Guy Fawkes. He landed at Hastings on the Sussex coast, about an hour away from our house.

There was a lot riding on this contest so we all settled down and got straight to work.

After reading a label on a blanket that said: Machine Wash, Do Not Bleach, Warm Iron, Dry Clean, Do Not Tumble Dry - Tabitha registered her disapproval, "Wow, that's very commanding!"
