There are still nine days to go until Halloween but we couldn't wait any longer so we did a few jack-o-lanterns today. We're the ONLY people in the village (and possibly the entire county) to be starting so early. I'm sure they all think we're a bunch of crazy Americans.This was Tabby's cute pumpkin:
When she'd finished we told her how cute it was but she didn't like that a bit! "It's not meant to be cute," she countered, "it's meant to be scary!"
As usual Dakota's offering was an uneasy mix of comedy and horror:

Look at those menacing eyes that Tabitha carved into that pumpkin, it certainly IS very scary. Calling it "cute" was gross misconduct. That said, Dakota's pumpkin is a cutey, and so is his girlfriend.
