I think a Hobbit left the Shire to set up housekeeping here. Even Tabitha would have to worry about smacking her head on this one. To give you some perspective, the top of the picket fence doesn't even reach the top of my hip!

Another low doorway.

And another.

Just how short were people in the olden days anyway?!

I suppose if you have to live in a pink house, a black door looks a little less sissy.

Edward thinks what this house really needs is a few flowers to jazz it up.

I love a bold front door. Such a British trademark.

And red is my favorite.

LOVE the doors - very 'quaint'!
These are fabulous. I quite like the black on pink (seriously). And what's up with that floral explosion? A little creepy.
Love it! It is things like this that make me wish we lived closer--so we could ogle all the same things together!
Oh we'd make great travel buddies. My albums are full of doorways, windows, shutters, and clothes lines, and people. I'm a little sparse on pics of major attractions Rick Steves says I'm supposed to be looking at. We could "Thelma and Louise" it across the globe, you snapping doors, me, I'll take the shutters. We'll Skype in to check on the kids occasionally! Deal?
hey I like this post! I love the black door on a pink house and the Flower Excessive house and comment made me laugh out loud!
Why do they hate "quaint!?"
Just prefer adoorable
I love the small doors of England. Maybe because I am 5' 1". Maybe because I love all things quaint.
I loved the doors out there! And I LOVE all the flowers on the one that's drowning in them! I LOVE flowers! Probably because I can't keep them alive, unless they're geraniums, which I went without watering for 3 months and they never died.
